Knotd`s Bar-B-Que in Grand Rivers

BBQ was good, especially the sauces provided on the side but sandwiches were served without plates. Server was very pleasant. We arrived at a little after 6 pm and they were starting to close about 10 minutes before 7 pm.

Took 20 minutes to get 1lb. of pork with a tiny bit of sauce on the side, it was NOT busy, one table seated in Dining room. Won't happen again.

BEST BBQ around, my all-time favorite sauce. Don't be surprised CASH or CHECK only, NO credit or No Debit cards. Friendly staff. Family owned/operated for something like 50 year's. I often get a whole shoulder for our large family gatherings of 40 people. Open until 7:30 pm or until they sell OUT, CLOSED in the winter. Definitely check them out.

Hands down, the best bbq I've ever had. Their sauce is fantastic. The service is friendly, fast and the food is consistently amazing.

Great little BBQ place, absolutely no complaints. Does not have Brisket, but the pork with the dark sauce was very good.

The barbecued pork is great but not much else. When you have four or five on the menu then making all of those spectacular would be a home run .

We were in town looking for good BBQ, and Knoths showed up with great reviews. We had a party of 5 and were served promptly and most of us had the beef (brisket) sandwich. It came with an amazing mustard-influenced bbq sauce that was tangy, sweet, and hit all the taste buds well. The meat was tender and not dry at all. They had extra BBQ sauce on the table, one was a spicy bbq sauce. It was sweet for the first .05 seconds and the rest had me sweating like crazy and i kept coming back for more! The spicy bbq sauce was AMAZING. Service was great and prices were spot-on, considering the sandwiches are a bit smaller than a traditional sandwich bun.

Knoth's Bar-B-Que is the best BBQ in the south. I can't describe how good this place is. The large bbq plate with a side of Cole slaw and fries is something you will dream about at night. Their meat is beyond lean and the sauce is a concoction of pure beauty. Do yourself a life favor and visit Knoth's before your time is up.

I've loved this place since I was a kid. Still the same great BBQ and friendly staff. Just a down home place to get great BBQ.

Great local restaurant! Pork was moist and tasty! Waitress was adorable and Very Polite! Only reason I did not give 5 stars is a veggie is needed on the menu (besides coleslaw). Green beans, perhaps?! Overall great experience!

Pretty good pork, excellent if you're into the Western KY style BBQ. Sauce is mustard and vinegar based with a hint of sweet or straight pepper and heat. Just add a bit of both on a bun with the slaw, pickles and onions and you can't go wrong

They've changed the sauce recipe and it's now bland without much flavor. The sauce has changed it lacks the flavor. Ive been eating it for more than 40 years and it's as if it is watered down to go further. It was a disappointing

Best BBQ ever!

The food was good (what little we got). The portions were very small. The sandwich was small and there was more bbq on the sandwich than the plate lunch. Way over priced for what we got.

Had the Pork Plate w/ slaw and fries. Was total comfort food. Very pleased. Also the spicy bbq sauce has a nice bite!

Best BBQ in west KY!

This is a true old-school cash only rural BBQ joint. We ate here on a whim while staying at KDV and I'm so glad we did! The pork and slaw were delicious and the sauces were interesting and like no BBQ sauce I'd ever tasted (also delicious).

Its awesome. Always buy a bottle of mild and hot sauce from them too. Real good stuff. Its a mom and pop but clean. Good service...but no plates

Sauce was not my liking

My job requires extensive travel and has allowed me the privilege to eat at many different establishments throughout the years and truthfully I’ve never had BBQ brisket that was actually worth bragging to anyone about until I tried the BBQ brisket an Knoths in Lake City. I can honesty tell everyone that reads this post that you will never have a more perfectly cooked, tender beef brisket anywhere and especially with that wonderful mouthwatering hickory smoke flavor that permeates throughout the meat and Ive only experienced that flavor on the surface and never have experienced that throughout the entire cut of meat before and I think I have found the first real mind blowing culinary experience in the one place I would never have expected and that is in Lake City Ky on hwy 62 before you cross the river on the right called Knoths BBQ.

Best BARBQ ever

Good BBQ. They were out of beef when we arrived. Cash or Checks ONLY! I rarely travel with anything other than a Debit card. Luckily there is a Dollar General down the road that will give cash back.

We are truck drivers traveling from Tennessee to Missouri. I ordered us some pork sandwiches on Facebook since it's only takeout right now. We walked up to the front and were right in the path of the smokehouse. That's the 1st good sign of a good BBQ joint. Both ladies were super nice. And sandwiches were very good. The Cole slaw was different but really good. (I like to top my pork sandwiches with it. It's really good that way). The sauce was a little thin but really good. Hope we get to stop in again sometime.

I like Harned's BBQ better but we gave it a try.

Awesome mom/pop style bbq place. Went with some locals who suggested child plate which turned out to be a pretty good portion. Had bottles of extra sauce, both hot and sweet. Hot was just about right.

It was a very nice, quaint old restaurant/diner. Prices are low for hamburgers but the BBQ pork plate price is just shy of $9, which is average. The food is awesome though. The meat is great, the fries were crinkle cut frozen type (standard) the coleslaw seems homemade and is a yellow color, and quite sweet, which compliments the BBQ sauce very well. My only dig, was that i like pickles with my BBQ plate meals, and it came without any (I stole one from my wife's hamburger, as can be seen in the photo) other than that, it's definitely a great place to stop by. It's seasonal too, so enjoy it while it's open! 👍

Authentic hickory smoked bbq pork that is delicious! Ask for it "fat and brown". Amazing!

The BBQ was good, however the menu was very limited. The waitress was friendly and helpful, just didn't come by the table much.
